About CAEmate:
CAEmate is a rapidly growing hi-tech company active in the development of
innovative software solutions and cloud applications targeted to engineering workflow automation. The company employs the most advanced technologies in object oriented programming, cloud-computing and numerical simulation (FEA, CFD, DEM) to improve efficiency and safety in the engineering design procedures.


The Research Project LIGHTEN:
The selected engineer will participate to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN) European project LIGHTEN. This project aims to train highly skilled engineers, though the international collaboration of industry and academia.
At the end of the project, the participating engineers are awarded with the PhD title -European Industrial Doctorate (EID). The PhD title for this position is awarded by the University College London (Department of Mechanical Engineering).
LIGHTEN project aims to improve the scientific and technological understanding of the thermomechanical behaviour of structural membranes. In particular, the project focus on the development of advanced design methods for innovative fully recyclable and
low-carbon structural membranes, through the development of engineering models capable of predicting their performances and allowing their rational use in ultralightweight buildings with enhanced energy efficiency and resilience.
CAEmate contributes to the project with the development of innovative software tecnologies and custom numerical simulation tools.


Your Profile:
The candidate must have a master degree in engineering and being specialized in one or more of the following fields (civil, mechanical, software, energy, electronics, fluid dynamics, CAE). The candidate should be capable to program in one or more of the following programming languages (Python, C++, FORTRAN, Javascript), or be highly motivated to learn it. The ideal candidate is a skilled, hard working, rapidly learning engineer, wanting to be introduced to the most advanced tecniques for engineering simulation and design.
Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required. Knowing other languages is a plus (Italian, German, Spanish).

The selected engineer will participate to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN) European project RE-FRACTURE2. This project aims to train highly skilled engineers, though the international collaboration of industry and academia. At the end of the project, the participating engineers are awarded with the PhD title – European Industrial Doctorate (EID). The PhD title for this position is awarded
by the University of Belgrade (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering).
The objective of the RE-FRACTURE2 project is to derive new computational models for refractory materials, which will make possible for the first time to simulate in-silico their behaviour over the whole of working temperature range. These models will be a breakthrough in the design of components like refractory nozzles, plates, ladle and tundish slide gate systems, which will directly translate to energy savings, waste reduction and decreases in pollution and CO2 emission, together with safety improvements.
CAEmate contributes to the project with the development of innovative software tecnologies and custom numerical simulation tools.

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Mitgliederbetreuung und –verwaltung
  • Betreuung der Website, sowie Aufbau und Nutzung der neuen social media Kanäle
  • Vorbereitung, Mitwirkung und Nachbearbeitung von Veranstaltungen
  • Vorbereitung der Buchhaltung

Ihr Qualifikationsprofil:

  • Genauigkeit, Verlässlichkeit und Eigeninitiative
  • Zeitliche Flexibilität (auch abends)
  • Freude am Umgang mit Menschen
  • Sehr gute EDV-Kenntnisse
  • Deutsch in Wort und Schrift, Englischkenntnisse
