24/7 production operation. Through fully automated serial production of 3D timber modules, they can produce high quality buildings faster and cheaper than would be possible in conventional construction processes.

Alberto Barba is an architect with over 20 years of experience. He leads the Architecture and Design Department for GROPYUS, to deliver Sustainable Affordable Living for Everyone, using holistic design, industrial and technology approaches to the provision of multi-family housing at scale. He worked for 18 years in the UK, with over a decade with Zaha Hadid Architects delivering singular projects in different countries across the world (Europe, US and Asia). Following that, he worked for Laing O’Rourke’s R&D Department on building systems and design process to improve construction productivity and sustainability.
